Web Design Process
1. Decide it is time you either revamp an existing website to today's design standards or that you need to being an online presence. [YOU ARE HERE]
2. Discovery Meeting: To kick things off, we will meet with you in person at your place of business or over the phone. The purpose of this meeting is for you to tell us what kind of website you envision, including what type of content and features desired. We can show you some examples of past websites we have designed to help give you some ideas of features you may want on your site.
3. Proposal: We will get back to you in a very short timeframe to give you a proposal for a design and let you ask us any questions you may have or to request additional ideas be added.
4. Quoting: Once a final proposal is verbally agreed upon, we will then prepare a formal quote for a start to finish website design project.
5. Place Order: If you are satisfied with the quote and ready for us to start your project, you will need to sign a contract that will include all the project details and prices. This ensures there will be no "hidden fees" as is the case with many web design companies today.
6. Start of Project: Now that the contract is signed, work may begin. This work starts with you providing us all the content desired on the various pages of your website (including text, graphics, pictures, etc.). This can be done via our secure FTP server, email, or CD-R based on the amount of data.
7. Main Configuration & Design Build: You can now kick back, relax, and leave the rest of it to us! The task of taking all the content and information provided to us and building your new website can begin. As your site is being built, we may contact you if we have any additional questions or have you to take a "sneak peek" to give you the opportunity to give us early feedback.
8. Design / Build Completion: Once we have built your website to your specifications, we will have a final consultation with you for the purpose of showing the newly designed site and to ensure it is designed to your satisfaction. At this point, small changes are permitted with no additional fee.
9. Training: Depending on the package you selected, we will train you on how to maintain your new website. This training will last up to two hours depending on the complexity of the site.
10. Liftoff: We now officially flip the switch to make your site "live" and accessible by anyone with a computer and internet connection!
11. Support: We will be glad to help you with ongoing website administration. Costs for this vary based on the package you selected.
